"speculated" that Judge Roll had gone to thank her for "a letter" regarding the " increased workload" that the Ninth Circuit was facing:
Judge Kozinski speculated — “ just a guess,” he said — that Judge Roll might have gone to the event on Saturday to thank Ms. Giffords for the letter. “ And he gets killed for my letter.”
New York Times.
Judge Kozinski added, “If it can happen to him, it can happen to any of us.”
"THAT"S A LOT OF SPECULATING, GUESSING AND
MAKING UP SHIT!" A.K.A. INFERING. BUT THE FACTS YOU JUST THREW IN THERE, ABOUT THE LETTER, AND THE REASON HE DIED, TO SERVE YOUR OWN SELF-INTERESTS, BY HIS DEATH, YOU'RE JUST SEIZING ON A TRAGEDY TO SCORE UNRELATED POLITICAL POINTS, WHICH IN ITSELF IS CONTEMPTIBLE. I DIDN'T THINK YOU COULD STOOP LOWER THEN BLAMING YOUR OWN SON, BUT ONCE AGAIN YOU NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME. "

Judge Roll, 63 years old,
had attended the event Saturday in Tucson to thank Rep. Gabrielle Giffords for signing a letter to Judge Alex Kozinski, the chief judge of the Ninth Circuit, to help convince the court to declare his federal judicial district a judicial emergency due to the high number of immigration cases that were being heard in that district, according to Judge Hawkins. A judicial emergency would put certain new measures in place, such as allowing judges to delay a trial because there were not enough bodies to hear the cases.
"Resources are diminished and misspent, however, and confidence undermined, if there is judicial disregard for the sound and established principles. That judicial disregard is inherent in the opinion of the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit here under review."
HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT DUE PROCESS, AMERICA? NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU'LL BE FORCED TO TRIALS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE OF COUNSEL.
SHALL WE GIVE THEM BODIES?
A DUPNIK MOMENT:
"I [have to] turn those things on ..."
"To try to inflame the public on a daily basis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, has impact on people, especially who are
unbalanced personalities to begin with," he said, in a stern lecturing tone.
Dupnik, a friend and political ally of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, didn't name names. But apparently he wanted to.
"He told me [Saturday], '
I had to hold myself back from not mentioning people by name,' " said former senator Dennis DeConcini, a fellow Democrat from Arizona and longtime friend of the sheriff.
Whom did Dupnik have in mind? "We talked about [Rush] Limbaugh and the national press people like Glenn Beck," DeConcini said. "He said, 'You know,
I [have to] turn those things on and they develop hatred.' "
”~ Joseph Goebbels If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
OUTSIDE IT'S AMERICA
what would be the capacity of law enforcement
and of the courts to SUPRESS this kind of SPEECH?" - Judge A. Howard Matz , PRE-TRIAL HEARING OF KILLERCOP.COM
A QUESTION FOR AMERICA:
Is "pretty good" pretty much like " pretty clear?" Because I'm " pretty sure" it is not. I know, it's complex. But then again, I'm officially nutzzzzzz, until certified (.pdf) un-nutzzzzzz, in a competent court of the law. So I am waiting on the law. It sure is not speedy...but it is baffled.
I'm all a Twitter waiting to see your reaction, to my reaction, to your Treatment and the promised Restoration. You'll just die when you see what I have in store for everyone involved in the story in 2012. At least that's my intent! 'Till then...
you know you have to look, there!! ABOVE!!
"another person" and "the person of another.
Read the plan, promptly!! A man's life, freedom and liberty are at stake!!! And it's probably a prudent thing to do, but don't speak about it!
In fact, don't even think about it, especially the cowards and the easily frightened children!
A tribute to Gabrielle Giffords.
In in last Thursday’s first-ever floor reading of the U.S. Constitution, Giffords read the 2011 First Amendment:
When examining Powell v. Tucson Air Museum Foundation of Pima, 771 F.2d 1309, 1311 ( statutory language, the plain meaning of the words used is controlling, absent a clearly expressed legislative intention to the contrary. 9th Cir.1985).
"Congress shall make
no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. "
In a series of
disjointed YouTube slide shows Loughner posted in recent weeks, he had railed about government mind control and brainwashing through grammar, proposed a new world currency and complained about illiterate people and " federalist" and " treasonous" laws.
Some suggest that Loughner's remarks about grammar may have been inspired by the teachings of David Wynn Miller, from Milwaukee who has argued that the government uses grammar to control people. Reached by Politico.com on Sunday, Miller said he agreed with Loughner that the government is brainwashing people by controlling grammar but said any suggestion that his writings inspired the shootings is ridiculous.
Though federal and state law enforcement officials said that Giffords was the target of the attack, Roll spoke to the
Arizona Republic newspaper in 2009 about death threats he faced while overseeing a controversial immigration case. He told the paper he and his wife had been followed by a security detail for a month. “It was unnerving and invasive. ... By its nature it has to be," Roll told the paper.
Roll sent a letter to
Chief Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit urging the court to declare Arizona a judicial emergency. In the letter, Roll said the four active judges in Tucson could not keep up with what he called a “tsunami of felony cases.”

" the simple truth -- born of experience -- is that tyranny thrives best where government need not fear the wrath of an armed people." ~Alex Kozinski
"The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed -- where the government refuses to stand for re-election and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once."~Alex Kozinski
"I hate to take advantage of such a tragedy BUT if this brings — public attention to the pressing need of filling vacancies then that would be a welcome result." Alex Kozinski on January 13, 2011
Attorneys for Jared Loughner, accused shooter of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and 18 others, have filed an emergency motion to block federal authorities from
forcibly medicating their client with anti-psychotic drugs.
The motion, filed Friday in Tucson, Ariz., federal court, argues that the Justice Department is making "
an end run" around Mr. Loughner's right to contest such treatment by misusing the rules governing administering..
The U.S. Attorney's office in Phoenix, which is prosecuting the case,
didn't request that Mr. Loughner be forcibly medicated and wasn't consulted about it, an official there said. The federal Bureau of Prisons made that decision under authority it has, he said. A Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman declined to comment.
