My name is Steven and I am the owner of this site. I did time in a California federal prison in Lompoc USP. I was facing "32 years," "hard time," yet ended up with a sentence of 42 months, of which I later showed the courts that one-half of that sentence [21 months] was in itself an "illegal sentence." I was imprisoned on 02.28.2002 to 07.29.2005, as Prisoner 02837-049 I thereafter served two months in a Halfway house. Followed by thirty four months of supervised release (SR).
While in prison I was able to use my studies of the law to free three prisoners, before their trial, while assisting over one hundred other prisoners resulting in 1000's of months time in reduced sentences. The Priest of the prison came to meet me at one point, to tell me he had heard of my good work in freeing one young man whose rights had been totally violated by the U.S. government. At one point even the guards were coming to me for legal opinions, when they found themselves being investigated internally by the BOP for cell phone smuggling for prisoners.
